SDCC 2015: The New Promo For BLINDSPOT Shows Just How Badass Jaimie Alexander Is!

Tonight is preview night for Blindspot. It's one of several shows enlisted for NBC's Fall slate and its done a hell of a job with what it has so far. The very first trailer premiered back in May and it was nothing short of impressive in showcasing actress Jaimie Alexander in sleek, cunning fashion as a tattoo-laden loner who awakens naked in a dufflebag only to discover she's beyond badass in more ways than one.

Fast forward to this week as preparations are in place at San Diego Comic-Con for NBC's electric panel for the screening of the pilot on Saturday, July 11 in Room 6A hosted by Warner Bros. Television; September 21 at 10:00pm EST is the official date and time the pilot will premiere. Ahead of then we now have a new preview making the rounds online featuring Alexander at the center of the story illustrating the essential highlights of our heroine's skillset which you can check out below the aforementioned announcement. (H/T: TV By The Numbers)
From executive producer Greg Berlanti and writer/executive producer Martin Gero comes “Blindspot”: A vast international plot explodes when a beautiful Jane Doe is discovered naked in Times Square, completely covered in mysterious intricate tattoos with no memory of who she is or how she got there. There’s one that’s very clear, however: the name of FBI agent Kurt Weller, emblazoned across her back. “Jane,” Agent Weller and rest of the FBI quickly realize that each mark on her body is a crime to solve, leading them closer to the truth about her identity and the mysteries to be revealed.
Fans can discover “Blindspot” at Tin Fish restaurant in Gaslamp Square. They will be able to receive both temporary tattoo sleeves and partake in a photo op where their head will be placed on a tattooed body, similar to the character of Jane Doe in the new NBC drama.
Also, throughout the Gaslamp District, fans can go on a scavenger hunt to search for and find the Jane Doe look-alikes. Once found fans can text “Blindspot” to a number tattooed on her body and receive the next step to enter for a chance to win $1,000.
Fans at Comic-Con can get their first look at “Blindspot” during the show’s world premiere as part of Warner Bros. Television’s annual Preview Night screenings on Wednesday, July 8.
Warner Bros. Television’s “Blindspot” Q&A panel, which will include a pilot screening and be moderated by Yahoo! TV editor-in-chief Kristen Baldwin, will feature star Jaimie Alexander and executive producers Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Martin Gero.
“Blindspot” premieres Monday, Sept. 21 at 10 p.m. on NBC.

STRIKE BACK: THE FINAL MISSION Launches A Last Assault In The Latest Trailer In Featurette

Cinemax series, Strike Back, has been one of the most interesting and thrilling shows I've seen. The network really had something going for itself following its premiere in 2011 and now it's coming to a close, and although there will be more shows to come on the network, I can't ignore just how awesome this program is.

Actors Philip Winchester and Sullivan Stapleton have done a fantastic job as odd couple brothers-at-arms for covert ops unit Section 20, dodging all sorts of dangers and close calls that have consistently put them in death's reach, and there are other characters that have come and gone who've really added poignance to the show's growth. It's also good timing as the two leads are now branching out with their careers with upcoming TV shows on NBC - Winchester's The Player and Stapleton's Blindspot, so with the fourth and final run in Cinemax's Strike Back: The Final Mission, brings an otherwise suitable title for one of the best shows in television history.

This month, Cinemax rung in the Summer with a new trailer and featurette that highlights what's in store for the final season which premieres July 31 at 10:00pm EST. Hong Kong action legend Michelle Yeoh joins the cast along with returning actresses Michelle Luke and Miluana Jackson and many more.

New Trailer For NBC's BLINDSPOT Shows Jaimie Alexander, Inked-Up And Kicking Ass 'Lucy' Style

Actress Jaimie Alexander is back to take a brief pivot from Marvel's Thor trilogy to tackle a gritty new role that sees her taking shape with every inch of tattoo ink on her body revealing one small secret after another. Blindspot is the name of this in an admirable slate of Fall programming for NBC with Strike Back star, actor Sullivan Stapleton joining in on the intrigue with a lead that surely promises something thrilling for the small screen, as Alexander herself continues to showcase a powerful hybrid of acting and action talent.
A vast international plot explodes when a beautiful Jane Doe is discovered naked in Times Square, completely covered in mysterious, intricate tattoos with no memory of who she is or how she got there. But there's one tattoo that is impossible to miss: the name of FBI agent Kurt Weller, emblazoned across her back. "Jane," Agent Weller and the rest of the FBI quickly realize that each mark on her body is a crime to solve, leading them closer to the truth about her identity and the mysteries to be revealed. From Executive Producer Greg Berlanti ("The Mysteries of Laura," "The Flash," "Arrow").
Berlanti also executive produces with Sarah Schechter and director Mark Pellington. Check out the trailer below!

Stapleton To Star In THE LAKE, Quale To Direct

With his appearance looming in the final season of the hit Cinemax series, Strike Back, actor Sullivan Stapleton is certainly showing no end to his current career progress as an action star. His role in last year's 300: Rise Of An Empire is a fair example of this and that has since caught the attention of EuropaCorp's Luc Besson and Christophe Lambert in lieu of their latest North American distribution arm, RED.

On that note, Deadline reports that the two are preparing to kick off a new action production with Stapleton leading as the first of their initiative with The Lake. Details on the cast are currently pending but the film will have Into The Storm helmer Steven Quale directing from a script by The Equalizer scribe Richard Wenk which tells of a group of Navy SEALs in war-torn Serbia who set out to solve an ancient mystery while searching for treasure buried deep underwater.

Filming is expected to commense in April while Stapleton's next theatrical appearance in the darkly comedic assassin flick, Kill Me Three Times on April 10 after its VOD release later this month from Magnet Releasing. The actor is also poised to make and his latest addition to the NBC pilot, Blindspot later this year as well.

STRIKE BACK Stars Head To NBC With Two Seperate Pilots, BLINDSPOT And ENDGAME

Sullivan Stapleton (L) and Phillip Winchester (R) in STRIKE BACK
Careers remain ever-growing for actors Phillip Winchester and Sullivan Stapleton following their finished run in Cinemax's five-season action series, Strike Back. The two are now venturing into other territories in the world of television as both will have their own respective shows on NBC's growing roster of pilots and potential series ventures.

Thursday's report from Deadline has brought word that Winchester will star in the forthcoming pilot for high-octane thriller, Endgame. Set in Las Vegas, Nevada, the show centers on Winchester who will play Alex, a former intelligence swept into a conspiracy that will force him to take on a series of obstacles in order to save innocent lives. Simultaneously, Stapleton will take on the role of an elite FBI unit leader whose name is mysteriously tattooed on the back of a beautiful amnesiac who awakens in Times Square, as described in the new series pilot, Blindspot. Mark Pellington is directing with Thor and Thor: The Dark World co-star, actress Jaimie Alexander leading.

Stapleton himself has already gained a stellar following on the big and small screen. His follow-up to last year's 300: Rise Of An Empire has now arrived in the form of Yahoo's new red-band trailer for the upcoming dark assassin comedy, Kill Me Three Times starring Simon Pegg. The film releases on-demand on March 27 prior to a limited theatrical release on April 10, courtesy of Magnet Releasing.

Stay tuned for more information on Endgame and Blindspot, and tune in this summer on Cinemax for the fifth and final season of Strike Back!
