Fans of actress Michelle Yeoh are certainly looking forward to seeing her in action this August with action star Donnie Yen in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon 2: The Green Destiny, among other projects. For what it's worth, I sure look forward to it myself, and I certainly hope Yeoh will be able to make it to the premiere by then.
Word from Jaynestars via Chinese media has it that Yeoh and her beau, Jean Todt are reportedly stranded in Nepal with flights cancelled following a massive 7.8 magnitude earthquake on Saturday which has so far left 3,200 people dead. The two were attending an event at a hotel at the time and the report states that Todt and his action star and bride-to-be are unharmed and currently staying at their hotel where they are without power while awaiting further travel information.
The two are also along up to a reported number of 300,000 tourists there, and the reports continue to develop on the damage that the quake left behind. Resuce and recovery efforts are now underway amid terrible aftershocks, and Time.com has listed up to six venues you may use to donate to the victims within the region. Feel free to head there now to find out how you can become a donor.
