Check Out A New Trailer And Action Clip From BOND:KIZUNA

Writer and director Yamakita Ryuji's newest directorial feature debut, Bond:Kizuna is still in production, and it was a couple of months back that a teaser went viral. A new version of that teaser soon removed the old one but an official trailer has since begun circulating as of a few weeks ago, and it's a movie that's pretty small in scale but still promises some good storytelling to accommodate curious eyes - a story that builds from a Yakuza killing into a sprawling, interconnected tale of love, murder and intrigue.

Another video also went online back in April as well in the fo of a key fight sequence which you can also view below as well; the clip itself is likely an unfinished sample-edit but should lend an idea as to what to expect from the rest of the film when it is complete. I reckon a 2016 date at this point although there's still no word on a release yet, but peep the synopsis and the rest benath and stay tuned for more info to come.

SYNOPSIS:

In the heart of Tokyo, Tatsumi; The Godfather of a notorious yakuza clan is killed by his ambitious right hand man Gondo. Gondo leaves for Los Angeles to expand his territory. Tatsumi's daughter Lynn sets out to seek revenge for her father's death, but loses her eyesight.  

A mute name Gen, who Lynn always admired, promises to help her with her quest for revenge and follows with her to LA in search of Gondo. Once in LA, Lynn and Gen gather a team of expert assassins; Brett, Emily, Victor and begin taking on paid hit jobs. One by one they begin exterminating criminals that slipped through the law.  

Kate, a rookie detective, happens to blunder into a hit job in progress and see one of the assassins (Gen). She is about to be killed by Gen as a witness but he takes pity on her and makes her swear that she will never reveal his identity.  

After Kate's best friend is murdered by one of Gondo's men, Kate joins the hunt for the yakuza and hires Gen and his assassins to seek revenge.  

In the meantime Victor, one of the assassins falls in love with a woman who is brutal killed by Gondo's men and once again a revenge hit is ordered but this time it is personal.  

We find that each life is connected; like a bond (which means in Japanese: Kizuna).

Everything Is Connected In The New Teaser For BOND:KIZUNA

It's early days right now, but actor, writer and director Yamakita Ryuji's newest directorial feature debut, Bond:Kizuna is already well underway through its promotional campaign via social media. We have our first teaser now making the rounds, aside from the addition of legendary actor Sonny Chiba, it's indie with a ton of relatively new faces headlined by actor David Yeung (son of Bloodsport co-star Bolo Yeung), actress Courtney Palm, and co-stars Ivory Broome and Street Fighter: Assassin's Fist co-star Gaku Space who are also producing. Suffice it to say, the people behind the action are Nakamura Tadahiro and Abe Tsuyoshi, two veteran action impressarios better known for their contributions to action cinema as members of Sakamoto Koichi's team, Alpha Stunts, so that should be plenty worth checking out in this latest bit of intertwining, multilayered tale of crime, vengenace and love.
