Actor and martial artist Ernie Reyes Jr. has long been a staple in the martial arts community for 30 years now, most prominently on the big and small screen. Roles in classic action films like The Last Dragon, Red Sonja, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Secret Of The Ooze, The Rundown and his recent appearance in Ninja Apocalypse are all notable mentions among others for anyone who follow his career or the genre, in general.
Unfortunately, it's moments like this that tend to leave you daunted with the reality that even some beloved entertainment figures go through their share of suffering, which is exactly the case being highlit in a recent GoFundMe campaign launched in favor of helping Reyes Jr. acquire much needed transplant after suffering kidney failure. The page is asking for a goal of $1000 which has already been surpassed in the first day but remains on-going, and at any rate, this is still worth sharing for anyone who can help or is otherwise interested.
Film Combat Syndicate sends its best wishes to Reyes Jr., his friends and family in the hopes of a speedy recovery. Follow him on Twitter with links to his Instagram and feel free to send him your good vibes!
