There's no shortage of action roles for season actors these days, and people like November Man star and former Bond of yesteryear, Pierce Brosnan is an embodiment of this kind of resilience. His latest role in V For Vendetta helmer James McTeigue's Survivor shows he's not afraid to rope down a spiral stairwell or blow shit up, and that's a problem for our heroine, Resident Evil franchise star Milla Jovovich, as every minute counts in this generic, yet harrowing, explosive tale of intrigue, deceit and blood...well, that's certainly what the new international trailer gives off.

SYNOPSIS:

Milla Jovovich stars in 'Survivor', a thriller about a State Department employee newly posted to the American embassy in London, where she is charged with stopping terrorists from getting into the U.S. Putting her in the line of fire: targeted for death, framed for crimes she didn't commit, discredited and on the run. Now she must find a way to clear her name and stop a large-scale terrorist attack set for New Year's Eve in New York's Times Square.
