Killers Collide In The Final Trailer For HITMAN: AGENT 47

Director Aleksander Bach is still very much a busy guy with another film on the way, so his latest directorial debut in the live-action game adaptation, Hitman: Agent 47 already looks like an amazing start to a fruitful career in theatrical filmmaking. Moreover, I'll be the first to admit I'm all for seeing this when it comes out in the next few weeks if I can help it, particularly since I love spectacular game adaptations with a fighting element.

Homeland actor Rupert Friend leads the cast here with an seemingly impeccable approach to the character along with actress Hannah Ware and actor Zachary Quinto thickening the plot just a tad. This, in addition to some kick ass fight coordination by Jonathan Eusebio who did the same for last year's action blast, John Wick, makes Hitman: Agent 47 just fine by me and well worth the price of a ticket.

SYNOPSIS:
HITMAN: AGENT 47 centers on an elite assassin who was genetically engineered from conception to be the perfect killing machine, and is known only by the last two digits on the barcode tattooed on the back of his neck. He is the culmination of decades of research – and forty-six earlier Agent clones -- endowing him with unprecedented strength, speed, stamina and intelligence. His latest target is a mega-corporation that plans to unlock the secret of Agent 47’s past to create an army of killers whose powers surpass even his own. Teaming up with a young woman who may hold the secret to overcoming their powerful and clandestine enemies, 47 confronts stunning revelations about his own origins and squares off in an epic battle with his deadliest foe.

The final trailer is making the rounds this week. Kindly catch it below!

Aleksander Bach To Direct Alien Invasion Epic, REVOC For Summit!

We're less than a month before the release of director Aleksander Bach's latest live-action game adaptation offering, Hitman: Agent 47. There's no doubt, however, that early screenings, provided the reviews are upworthy, may prove the film to be an effective one, and so we can comfortably look forward to whatever lies in Bach's future as a filmmaker.

That said, THR has it that the award-winning commercial director will be following up with Revoc, an alien invasion thriller from a script by John Robert Cole. David Hoeberman and Todd Lieberman are producing the film for Lionsgate via Summit, and there's general plot to circulate as of this report while being described as a unique and grounded sci-fi epic.

My take on this is uncertain, so time will tell upon the release of Hitman: Agent 47 just exactly how I feel about Bach in his directorial debut. The trailers have been nothing short of fantastic, and so I'm already sold as it looks like a great first outing. If it works in full, I'm all for Revoc.

Clearly someone at Twentieth Century Fox is a fan of the hit TV series, Mad Men. The New Trailer For HITMAN: AGENT 47 Takes Dead Aim!

Before the previous couple of years, it might have been easy to believe that actor Timothy Olyphant's title role in director Xavier Gens's 2007 cinematic incarnation of the popular Square Enix game, Hitman, would have been enough for a continuation; I certainly know I like it, and was always curious to see what would come of it.

Alas, 20th Century Fox has since taken initiative to reinvigorate the franchise with a new film and a new actor, now starring Rupert Friend (in place of late actor Paul Walker who was announced for the role in early 2013) in Aleksander Bach's new theatrical film adaptation, Hitman: Agent 47. With a date now set for August 28, 2015, the latest trailer serves quite the explosive feat that could top its predecessor. Of course, the question is, will it?

SYNOPSIS:
HITMAN: AGENT 47 centers on an elite assassin who was genetically engineered from conception to be the perfect killing machine, and is known only by the last two digits on the barcode tattooed on the back of his neck.
Rounding out the cast are Zachary Quinto, Hannah Ware, Thomas Kretschmann, Ciaran Hinds and Dan Bakkedahl with a script by Skip Woods, Kyle Ward and Michael Finch. Watch the new trailer below, courtesy of JoBlo.
