STRIKE BACK Stars Head To NBC With Two Seperate Pilots, BLINDSPOT And ENDGAME

Sullivan Stapleton (L) and Phillip Winchester (R) in STRIKE BACK
Careers remain ever-growing for actors Phillip Winchester and Sullivan Stapleton following their finished run in Cinemax's five-season action series, Strike Back. The two are now venturing into other territories in the world of television as both will have their own respective shows on NBC's growing roster of pilots and potential series ventures.

Thursday's report from Deadline has brought word that Winchester will star in the forthcoming pilot for high-octane thriller, Endgame. Set in Las Vegas, Nevada, the show centers on Winchester who will play Alex, a former intelligence swept into a conspiracy that will force him to take on a series of obstacles in order to save innocent lives. Simultaneously, Stapleton will take on the role of an elite FBI unit leader whose name is mysteriously tattooed on the back of a beautiful amnesiac who awakens in Times Square, as described in the new series pilot, Blindspot. Mark Pellington is directing with Thor and Thor: The Dark World co-star, actress Jaimie Alexander leading.

Stapleton himself has already gained a stellar following on the big and small screen. His follow-up to last year's 300: Rise Of An Empire has now arrived in the form of Yahoo's new red-band trailer for the upcoming dark assassin comedy, Kill Me Three Times starring Simon Pegg. The film releases on-demand on March 27 prior to a limited theatrical release on April 10, courtesy of Magnet Releasing.

Stay tuned for more information on Endgame and Blindspot, and tune in this summer on Cinemax for the fifth and final season of Strike Back!
